Tragic! Teen Try To Block The Truck Got Squashed
Bekasi Regency - Bekasi Metro Police Satlantas conducted a crime scene related to the viral video on Social Media related to content blocking a truck that resulted in a teenager with the initial R (16 years old) being run over by a truck carrying soil on the Pantura RE Martadinata Highway, Cikarang on Sunday (11/07/21) at around 15.00 WIB.
In the video, 4 teenagers can be seen blocking a dirt truck that was speeding from Bekasi to Karawang, three teenagers managed to avoid it but the driver who couldn't control his vehicle resulted in one teenager being hit by a truck and being run over.
The incident was immortalized by his friends who were at the scene at the time and spread on social media videos containing the truck blocking content.
AKBP Argo Wiyono, Head of Traffic at the Bekasi Metro Police, led the investigation of the crime scene at that location, in this incident the Police will examine the victim & the victim's colleagues who were at the time of the incident.
"Currently the condition of the victim is still in the hospital in the ICU room is being treated and cannot be questioned. There is a possibility of being named a suspect because according to Article 132 paragraph 2 of the LLAJ Law, pedestrians crossing inappropriately can endanger other motorists." Argo said firmly to reporters Tuesday (13/07/21)
Argo continued, if the victim is classified as a minor, action will be taken as a minor. However, we will investigate who is coordinating. The driver of the truck that hit the victim is still being pursued by the police.
"The driver of the truck that crashed is still being pursued, the police will also develop who is behind the creation of the content." Argo said
In this case, the Bekasi Metro Police Satlantas have coordinated with the Criminal Investigation Unit, which later the Cyber team will patrol the accounts of the accounts that create dangerous content and find out who created and disseminated it, in that case the ITE Constitution would be threatened and urge parents to be more strict in monitoring his children.
