Man Beaten After Taking A Woman From A Drug Dealer
On Wednesday night (24), an ex-convict, who served time in prison for the crime of drug trafficking and criminal association, was beaten after taking a woman from a drug dealer. The violent and unforgivable “charge” was commanded by the drug dealer ‘Dudu’, who is the leader of the traffic in Beco Nipoa, São Geraldo neighborhood, central-south zone of Manaus.
The bandit who appears in the images with his hands tied and being punished was accused of being a 'talaric' or 'eye-catcher'. Popular terms describe a man who gets physically or emotionally involved with his friends or cronies' wife.
Anonymous whistleblowers also denounce that Beco Nipoa is a large open-air drug trafficking fair in the neighborhood of São Geraldo.
“We have already reported it to the police more than a thousand times, but, to date, they have never done anything and we live here intimidated by the traffickers,” says one of the whistleblowers.
The man who appears speaking at the beginning of the video is ‘Dudu’, who is accused of murdering a priest when he was still a minor.
In the images, the ‘talarico’ appears to be beaten and shouted that his leg was broken. It was not reported what happened to him after the video.
